This Side Bend LED Neon Flex is with horizontal-bending design, 12mm light-emitting surface, 20mm height, different white colors, RGB, and RGBW for choice. It uses high-quality gas silica gel, yellowing resistance, UV resistance, salt and alkali resistance, high-temperature resistance, and flame retardant. Moreover, it is IP67 ideal for both indoor & outdoor decorative lighting and outdoor building outline lighting.

Unitop Side Bend LED Neon Flex Rope Light 1220 has so many unique features, including but not limited to below:

High CRI More Than 90Ra:

The CRI of the LEDs we are using is all more than 90Ra. Thus we also call our LED Neon Flex: High CRI LED Neon Flex Strip Lighting. Generally speaking, CRI(color rendering index) values of 90 and above are considered excellent; however, values below 80 are generally considered not good.

Various Colors:

Despite the typical white color: 2100K, 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K, we also have tunable white/color temperature adjustable, RGB, RGBW for your choice.

IP 67:

Our LED Neon Flex uses high-quality gas silica gel, which is yellow resistance, UV resistance, salt and alkali resistance, high-temperature resistant, and flame retardant. It is IP67.

Cut Freely:

There are clear silk-print cutting marks on the back of the LED Neon Flex for you to cut conveniently and quickly.

Електрична схема:

1. Single-end Wiring:

Please use a constant voltage power supply with corresponding output voltage, and the rated wattage of the power supply shall be 25% more than the actual power consumption of light to increase its life expectancy.
This wiring diagram uses the mains of AC220-240V with brown and blue wires as an example, and please connect with the corresponding live and neutral wires for other electricity mains.

Dimming frequency ranges from 100Hz to 2000Hz, and 500Hz is recommended.

Light Length:
The length of the longest single light in parallel connection or sum of LED Neon Flex in series connection.

Cable Length:
The length of an electrical cable between the power output end and light input end and the wires for serial interconnection are included.

How to minimize voltage drop?
1. Please ensure the cable length is not more than the table “Max. Cable Length” according to light length and its wire gauge.
2. Please ensure the light length is less than the cable “Max. Running Length Single-end Wiring”.

2. Double-end Wiring:

The below wiring diagram with double-end wiring to run length longer than the max running length for single-end wiring but less than twice the value.

Please ensure the polarity connection is correct on both ends, and a short circuit might occur if powering the light from both ends with reverse polarity. It is not recommended to connect both ends of the neon flex with two separate power supplies, which would lead to overloading and overheating problems if either power supply is failed.

Light Length:
The length of the longest single light in parallel connection or sum of neon flex in series connection.

Cable Length:
The length of an electrical cable between the power output end and light input end and the wires for serial interconnection are included.

How to Minimize Voltage Drop:
1. It is optimal to position the power supply in the middle of a single light or multiple lines in a daisy chain to keep the equivalent cable length on both ends for double-end wiring.
2. Please ensure the cable length is not more than the table “Max. Cable Length” according to half of the light length and its wire gauge.
3. Please ensure the light length is less than the table “Max. Running Length Double-end Wiring”.

How do you cut and glue the Side Bend LED Neon Flex?

1. Cut LED Neon Flex.

Світлодіодний неоновий гнучкий різак 1 — Install the screw into position and ensure the screw head is in line with or lower than the base of the aluminum profile.

Світлодіодний неоновий різак Flex Cutting 2 — Step 2: Put the LED Neon Flex on the scissor flatly.

Світлодіодний неоновий гнучкий різак 3 — Step 3: Adjust the cutting position to the cutting mark.

Світлодіодний неоновий гнучкий різак 4 — Step 4: Cut out immediately. Please don’t cut diagonally.

2. Pass the wire through the end cap.

3. Solder the wire.

Припаяйте дріт 1 — Step 1: Cut extra LED Neon Flex silicone with a knife to expose the soldering pad.

Припаяйте дріт 2 — Step 2: Adjust the soldering iron temperature to 380-400°. Soldering time shall not exceed 3-5s.

Припаяйте дріт 3 — Step 3: Fully tin the soldering pad on the FPC for better soldering.

Припаяйте дріт 4 — Step 4: Solder wire to FPC. Do not reverse solder the positive and negative poles. Do not expose the copper part of the wire. Do not expose the FPC edge. Do not scald the wire.

4. Seal the head end cap.

Ущільнити кришку головки 2 — Step 2: Fill a 1-2mm glue layer on the inner side end cap of the wire.

Ущільнити кришку головки 3 — Step 3: Apply a thin circle of glue 5-7mm around the neon strip cutting place. Do not glue on FPC and LEDs.

Ущільнити торцеву кришку головки 4 — Step 4: Inset the LED neon flex to the end cap 8-9mm. Press the outside end cap slightly.

Ущільнити кришку головки 5 — Step 5: Wipe off the spilled glue with a cloth.

5. Seal the tail end cap.

Ущільнити кришку хвостової частини 1 — Step 1: Fill a 1-2mm glue layer on the inner side end cap.

Ущільнити кришку хвостової частини 2 — Step 2: Apply a thin circle of glue 5-7mm around the neon strip tail. Do not glue on FPC and LEDs.

Ущільнити кришку хвостової частини 3 — Step 3: Inset the LED neon flex to the end cap 8-9mm.

Ущільнити кришку хвостового відсіку 4 — Step 4: Press the outside end cap slightly.

6. Curing time.

Виліковування — Installation curing time: 3h. Fully curing time: 24h.

How do you install the bendable profile?

Встановлення гнучкого профілю 1 — Step 1: Mark the required shape on the mounting surface or print the sketch on a scale of 1:1 if complicated.

Встановлення гнучкого профілю 2 — Step 2: Get the front connector outside the profile and keep it at least 10mm apart. Fix the screw starting from the power input end.

Встановлення гнучкого профілю 3 — Step 3: Use a cylinder or disc-like object you have to assist with shaping.

Встановлення гнучкого профілю 4 — Step 4: Fix the rest in sequence, along with the marks.

Монтаж гнучкого профілю 6 — Step 6: Finish and fix the LED Neon Flex in.

How do you install the aluminum profile?

Монтаж алюмінієвого профілю 1 — Install the screw into position and ensure the screw head is in line with or lower than the base of the aluminum profile.

Монтаж алюмінієвого профілю 2 — Use a rubber expansion bolt to assist with the screw ﬁxation if the mounting surface is rigid.

Неправильно 1 — Ensure no debris in the profile before installation to prevent the LED Neon Flex from being impaled and causing water ingress.

Неправильно 2 — Make sure no screw bulges on the slot to avoid damage to the LED Neon Flex and causing water ingress.

Неправильно 3. — Do not use an aluminum profile that is deformed seriously.

Гнучкі профілі — It's recommended to mount in place at one time when using the bendable aluminum profile in case of any break due to the frequently repeated shaping.

How do you connect the aluminum profiles?

З'єднання алюмінієвого профілю 2 — The aluminum profiles can be joined to a right angle only if two pieces of LED Neon Flex are connected to a right angle.

З'єднання алюмінієвого профілю 3 — For the curve shape of LED Neon Flex, leave enough space to separate profiles in between, or use the bendable profile instead.

Алюмінієвий профіль Cross 1 — If an outdoor mounting surface with a splice structure, please ensure the aluminum profile goes across the gap.

Алюмінієвий профіль Cross 2 — When the profiles join together just between the gaps, the contraction and expansion of the mounting surface will cause the misalignment of profiles and LED Neon Flex, leading to damage to the inside PCB.

How do you install Side Bend LED Neon Flex?

Верхній вигин світлодіодного неонового гнучкого світильника 1 — Step 1: Make sure the Top Bend LED Neon Flex is fitted vertically.
